Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I have been working hard to come up with fun, engaging activities for the teachers and kids at my school. I love seasonal math games and craftivities. If you are anything like me, I want the kids to learn, have fun, and then I want something super cute to display.

Check out this "Build a Turkey" craftivity. Perfect for reviewing math skills and at the same time creating a beautiful craft for a classroom display.

Skills include:place value, multiplication, addition, and subtraction. This is is for grades 3-5. You can find it here.

I also created one for the younger grades ( 1 and 2). Skills include doubles facts, fewer and more, place value, addition and subtraction within 20. You can access this craftivity and other related Thanksgiving activities here

What about some performance tasks to review multiple skills and at the same time create a classroom display? Check out these adorable performance tasks with Thanksgiving themed page toppers (in color and black and white).

This one is for grades 1-2

Also in black and white to save ink and to give the kids an opportunity to color :)

And this one is for grades 3-4. You can download three different performance tasks with a choice of 5 different page toppers  here

Also, why not play some Thanksgiving themed games like this one? It is also included in the Thanksgiving Activities Resource for grades 4-5

So go ahead. Have some fun with your students during the Thanksgiving season.

I would love to hear what you are doing in your class, Leave me a comment!
